The Target Hole Disc (sold in sets of 2 discs) allows players to practice putting anywhere on the green, regardless of where the green-keeper chooses to cut the hole in the morning. It also helps players learn proper speed control by showing how far the ball travels past the hole after rolling over the disc. Many players also use them during practice rounds, placing them where they believe the hole locations will be during an event, to practice the specific putts they expect to encounter. An additional benefit of the disc is that its diameter is 1 inch smaller than the one of a regulation golf hole, making the actual hole on the course appear larger after practising with the Target Hole Disc.
